SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP

Our worship service has a simple structure and utilises both traditional and contemporary praise. The preaching of God's Word is central. Families join together for worship at 11:00 a.m., when we sing, pray and read together. Younger children are given a brief, practical message about mid-way through the service, and then they’re dismissed to our age-appropriate Sunday school classes where they learn about God and His plan for their lives. Adults remain to hear from God’s Word.

After the message, we all gather outside for coffee, treats and a time to chat informally with friends.

PRAYER MEETING

Every Tuesday morning at 8:00, church members are invited to come to the church and pray for our members, our friends, our community, and our world. We maintain a prayer list, which we include in our church bulletin each week, and keep updated with those who are sick, injured, or in difficult life situations. Anyone is welcome to join us.

BIBLE STUDIES

One of the aspects of our church life that we are most proud of is that so many of our people are involved in regular Bible study, both through church related groups and personal devotions. We have three active adult Bible study groups at the church.

The Pastor’s Bible study meets on Thursday nights at 6:30 at the church, and Pastor Ken leads this group in detailed, in depth studies of various books of the Bible. They have studied the Old Testaments books of Exodus, Joshua, Judges, and Samuel, as well as New Testament books like the Gospel of John and Philippians. We are presently studying the Book of Jeremiah.

Impact Youth Group

We gather on Friday afternoons at 3:30, have snacks, games and a lesson led by Pastor Ken. Sarah Stretton is our Impact leader, and she does a fantastic job. One popular component of our meetings is the opportunity to share the good and bad things that have happened during our week. It’s a chance to open up, to show support for one another, and to build a strong community.
