Lucaya Church Resumes Communion
On Sunday, December 6, 2020, the Lucaya Presbyterian Church will resume celebration of the sacrament of Communion. In keeping with present protocols for safety, we will continue to require masks to be worn (except when receiving the elements), social distancing to be observed, and hand sanitization at the door. These protocols we have been observing for several months in order to keep our people safe.
This Sunday, however, we will add one additional protocol. In an effort to improve ventilation and reduce contamination, we are going to open the side doors and let the fresh air and sunshine in! There is something that feels very Biblical about opening the doors of the church wide to the world. It is our hope that this will be an encouragement to those who have been reluctant to gather indoors to come and worship with us.
We invite you to join us this Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., as we continue our observation of Advent by celebrating the Lord’s Supper. We also invite you to join us for Communion on Christmas Eve for our service of Carols and Candles which begins at 7:00 p.m. May it lift your hearts and your spirits as we worship God’s name together!
